Theodoro Autops is a São Paulo-based street artist known for his monochromatic, comic-style murals that draw inspiration from classic comics. His art is characterized by clean, crisp lines that convey narratives without the use of dialogue. Autops started out in the graffiti scene, engaging with the aggressive lettering style of Pixação seen in São Paulo. Over time, he transitioned towards character-driven works, influenced by early animation and comics, as well as the satirical commentary of Argentinian comic-strip artist Quino. His pieces offer a poetic contrast to their surroundings and invite viewers to interpret their open-ended narratives.
