Story time
Years ago – maybe 2009? – before I became the obsessed collector I am today, I was just on a regular lunch break, walking down the street in North Hollywood, CA. Out of nowhere, I stumbled onto a pop-up art show that instantly stopped me in my tracks. Everywhere I looked, there was pop-culture monster goodness, all in this totally fresh, cool style. It was a pop-up with Alex Pardee and Dave Correia, and I was hooked on the spot. I ended up snagging an amazing Dexter DOPPELGÄNGERS print from Alex and a killer Freddy Kruger piece from Dave. That was the moment that sparked my entire collecting obsession. Now, years later, I’m absolutely HYPED for Alex’s upcoming show!

The Return of the "DOPPELGÄNGERS"
Alex Pardee is back, bringing all-new nightmare fuel to his latest solo show! Ten years ago, he unleashed DOPPELGÄNGERS – 150 creepy, watercolor portraits inspired by decades of classic horror movies and monster madness. The book had 3 printings, but it’s been sold out and out of print for years…until now.
On Friday, December 13th, Pardee’s pulling out the big scares with an updated DOPPELGÄNGERS show at Harman Projects in Los Angeles, CA. Expect over 100 new horror portraits, plus an early release of the new, expanded DOPPELGÄNGERS book – now with 300 pages of Pardee madness.
